The Stanpa and Foundation program Ponte beautiful, you will feel better , started in Spain in 2012 and since then has helped 5,000 women with cancer to look better on the outside, through workshops that provide tips on skin care and makeup . The program has instituted in 28 hospitals throughout Spain , and has a team of 70 volunteer professionals. The main goal is to help patients feel better about themselves during treatment. They have the voluntary participation of beauticians and makeup artists who encourage women to have a more positive attitude toward their disease .
The fifth anniversary of the Stanpa Foundation and its program was held with the presence of the Board and Partners of the Foundation, with representatives of the medical team of doctors and nurses at the Hospital Gregorio Maranon de Madrid and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). Through the testimonies of patients, nurses and volunteers, it was learned the day – to – day workshops in beautiful Ponte, you’ll feel better . The workshops that are taught in small groups , where patients receive a cosmetic bag with products donated by 33 companies perfumery collaborating in the program.
